Measles outbreaks in the north-west and London

There have recently been outbreaks of measles in north-west England and
London resulting in the death of one 13-year-old boy. This is the first
death from measles since 1992. Parents should ensure that their children
have had all their routine immunisations, including MMR to protect against
measles, mumps and rubella. If you are unsure of your child's immunisation
status or are concerned, talk to your GP, health visitor or practice nurse.
Visit mmrthefacts.nhs.uk for further information on measles and the
MMR immunisation.
